Mind Portrait, 2026

A lot of artists I know will make a new self-portrait or update their headshot every year. I thought my portfolio revamp would be the perfect time for me to do the same, but while I find my own face to be beautiful (sorry), it’s also not very interesting.

People don’t need to know what I look like in the year 2026. What I do what them to know is what kind of stories I want to tell going forward, and where they come from. Often dark places, where horror spring naturally; headache-inducing mazes where obsessive machinations wrangle ideas into shape; and lately, miraculously, places of hope and light, where magic and healing are possible.
